It is not every day that a Category 5 hurricane hits the Caribbean let alone two hurricanes within one week.

It has been just over 24 months since Irma and Maria ravaged the island of St. John located in the northeastern corner of the United States Virgin Islands. Good news. Like most of the USVI, St. John rebounded quickly and has been back in business for months and ready for another season.

Cinnamon Bay is one of the most beautiful places on earth. The sand is powder white, water clear and bright all set among the lush green vegetation that grows as high as you can see. A true rebirth of one of the most spectacular St. John properties offering unprecedented panoramic views of Cinnamon Bay is officially complete. Today, visitors are again enjoying this incredible property in its full glory.

As they say, it takes a team to get the job done and in this case it certainly did. Chris Findlay, CEO of Source Global Purchasing & Logistics, located in Charleston, South Carolina leveraged his years of experience, seasoned team and many island relationships to help accomplish this seemingly impossible task.

The main goal was to rebuild but also rebuild it better in every way imaginable. The Source team worked with ownership and local contractors to find and supply industry-leading products equally chosen for their aesthetics and durability. This property is ready to stand up to the next Category 5 hurricane without a flinch.

Source Global Purchasing & Logistics, wasted no time   and swiftly began this transformation weeks after the 2017 hurricane season subsided.

““I was on St. John helping clients literally weeks after Irma and Maria hit. Cinnamon Bay has some of the most incredible properties in the world and to see the vast destruction was heartbreaking. I have a special place in my soul for St. John. The transformation the entire island has made is incredible. I am very proud of this project and our team. They did their homework found the best products and materials available and got them on site at the right time to keep the renovations moving.”  ”

Property Information:

Like its neighboring villa, this property offers an expanded design that extends more than 150 feet from the house to the pool deck. All the living areas and bedrooms are under one roof, with the large pool and sundeck on the west (sunny) side of the villa in an ultra-private location.

You approach the house from below and drive up to the parking area on the upper level of this 2-level villa. A tropical walkway leads to the main entrance which opens to the great room that contains the living, dining and kitchen areas. There are two bedroom/baths on the upper level on either side of the great room, and three more bedroom/baths on the lower level which is accessed by interior and exterior stairs. Both the upper and lower levels have decks that run the entire length of the house, while on the west side of the villa a large sundeck, waterfall, lagoon pool and hot tub is bordered by lush tropical gardens.
